Management (Updating)
The Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring will be governed and managed by a Governing Committee made up of nine members appointed by the Minister for the Economy and Competitivity:
- Two of whom on behalf of the Ministry for the Economy and Competitivity (one from "Secretaría de Estado de Hacienda y Presupuestos" and the other one from "Secretaría de Estado de Economía").
- Four of whom proposed by the Banco de España.
- Three on behalf the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Credit Institutions.
A representative of the General Comptroller Department of the State Administration will also attend the meetings of the Governing Committee and will have the right to speak but not to vote. He will be appointed by the Minister for the Economy and Competitivity at the proposal of the General Comptroller.
One of the members appointed at the proposal of the Banco de España will be its Deputy Governor, who will chair the Governing Committee.
Governing Committe Composition (Updating)
The Governing Committe of the Fund for the Orderly Bank Restructuring is formed by:
- The President: Javier Aríztegui Yáñez, Deputy Governor of the Banco de España
- The Vice President: Jerónimo Martínez Tello, Director General of Banking Supervision, Banco de España
- Seven members:
- Íñigo Fernández de Mesa Vargas, Secretary General of the Treasury and Financial Policy, Ministry of Economy and Competitivity
- Fernando Rojas Urtasun, Director General for Budgets, Ministry of Economy and Competitivity (pending)
- José María Roldán Alegre, Director General for Banking Regulation, Banco de España
- Fco. Javier Priego Pérez, General Secretary of the Banco de España
- Isidro Fainé Casas, Roberto Higuera Montejo y Joaquin Vázquez López, on behalf of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Credit Institutions.
A representative of the General Comptroller Department of the State Administration, Elena Rodríguez Raso, also attends, without voting rights, the meetings of the Governing Committee.
As Secretary to the Governing Committee acts Fco. Javier Priego Pérez.
