Governing Committee
FROB will be governed and administered by a Governing Committee consisting of eleven members:
- The Chairperson
- Four members designated by Banco de España, one of whom will be the Deputy Governor, who will act as Vice-Chair of the Governing Committee
- Three representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and
Business, designated by the Minister, at least Director General level - The Vice-Chair of the Spanish Securities Market Regulator (CNMV)
- Two representatives of the Ministry of Finance, designated by the Minister, at least Director General level
Also attending the Governing Committee meetings, with the right to speak but not to vote, will be a representative designated by the Auditor General and another by the Attorney General – Director of the State Legal Service.
Composition of the Governing Committee
The Governing Committee of FROB is made up of:
- Chair of FROB: Álvaro López Barceló
- Vice-Chair: Margarita Delgado Tejero, Deputy Governor of Banco de España
- Jesús Gascón Catalán, Secretary of State for Finance
- Montserrat Martínez Parera, Vice-Chair of the Spanish Securities Market Regulator (CNMV)
- Aida Fernández González, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business
- Paula Conthe Calvo, General Secretary of the Treasury and International Financing
- Ángel Estrada García, General Director of Financial Stability, Regulation and Resolution of Banco de España
- Mercedes Olano Librán, General Director of Banking Supervision of Banco de España
- Francisco Javier Priego Pérez, General Secretary of Banco de España
- Javier Sánchez Fuentefría, Manager Director of Budget
- Santiago Durán Domínguez, Chair of the Spanish Institute of Institute of Accountants and Auditors
Other persons entitled to attend meetings:
- Pablo Arellano Pardo, General Auditor of the Spanish Central Goverment
- Julio José Díez Menendez, representative of the General Attorney – Director of the State Legal Service
The functions of Secretary to the Governing Committee are performed by Cayetana Lado Castro-Rial, Legal Director of FROB.
