Contributions to the Resolution Funds
On February 13, 2026, the Single Resolution Board published on its website that the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) target continued to be met, and therefore, no further contributions are required in 2026. Compliance with the target level will be verified again in early 2027. Annually, it is verified that the SRF’s resources remain above their target level, i.e., at least 1% of covered deposits in the Banking Union member states. As of December 31, 2025, the fund’s resources were €81,6 billion, thus exceeding this level.
Likewise, for the National Resolution Fund (NRF), to the extent that the NRF’s financial resources exceed the target level, it was not deemed necessary to collect the ex ante contributions corresponding to the 2026 cycle from the 35 subject investment companies and non-EU branches. Net assets of the fund amount to €17.6 million.
