The public funds injected by FROB that will ultimately be recovered will depend on the performance and final divestment of FROB’s shareholding in BFA/CaixaBank. For FROB, the best estimation of the recoverable amount of BFA, is BFA´s net equity (that includes the amounts recovered in divestments of BFA’s stake in Bankia (EUR 2.1 billion) and the dividends received by BFA from Bankia/CaixaBank (EUR 1.4 billion), together with the unrealized capital gains from the participation in CaixaBank, not recognized in this equity (EUR 1.3 billion). That recoverable value is estimated EUR 6.3 billion as included in 2022 FROB´s annual accounts.

To this, EUR 489 million already included in Interests received and others should be added.
